Irlen Syndrome

Irlen Syndrome is a visual processing disorder. The brain does not process what it sees correctly even if the person has 20/20 vision.

The use of coloured overlays or lenses can assist those with Irlen Syndrome by helping to reduce visual stress.

It is separate from dyslexia and any remediation for Irlen Syndrome will not assist with remediation for dyslexia.
